Definitions - 'We' or 'Us' refers to Walk behind mower servicing the provider of services ,repairs or parts described on our quotes . “You” refers to the customer as the purchaser of the goods or services described on the order or quote forms.
1.You the customer agree that we can put you details on a ticket and attach it to your machine for identification purposes only and will not
be shared with others.
2. You the customer agree that we will provide a quote verbaly with you for repairs or replacement parts found to be in need of replacment during a service and you must request a written quote should you need one.
3. You here by agree to us diagnosing a fault or servicing your machinery at your request.
4. You the customer agree and understand that we Walk behind mowers are not VAT registered and can NOT provide you with a Vat
reicept for any work or parts.
5. If machines left for service or repair are deemed dangerous, for example, a hole in the chassis, this will need making safe before we
can return your mower or if the machine is to be returned without repair, it will have its sparkplug or blade removed to leave it in a non running condition in order to avoid any legal comback.
6. Any new parts fitted to you machine remain the property of Us until paid for in full by you.
7. Any machine left for more than 4 weeks after the work has been completed will be considered abandoned and become property of
Walk behind mower servicing and will be disposed of as we see fit, any profit made will be kept by walk behind mower servicing.
8. For customers who dont have email ,you give consent for a paper copy of documents with your details to be kept as a hard copy in a locked storage device.
9. For customers who cancel their service or repair will have to pay for work carried out to the point of cancellation and any collection or redelivery of their property.
10. Upon request of you we can recycle a machine properly how we see fit after you have given us the instructions to recycle the machine it is final and the machine will become the property of us untill its desposed off.
11. We reserve the right to cancel any work under any circumstance such as and not limited to breaching our zero tolerance policy against threatening behaviour or swearing at employees or the owner of Walk behind mower servicing
Labour shown on any estimate is not guaranteed. This is because the job could take longer than quoted for such reasons as (but not limited to)coroded or broken bolts adding time and thus addtional labour costs. The price quoted above is an approximation based on the project requirements defined in conjunction with the customers machine.
All estimates remains valid for 30 days after the date on the above estimate
should we not hear back from the customer and not be able to contact you within the 30 days from the original estimate date the machine will be considered abandoned and become property of Walk behind mower servicing and will be disposed of as we see fit any profit made will be kept by Walk behind mower serviching.
Services: If you accept the terms of this estimate, Walk behind mower servicing will perform the services as described in this estimate. If you would like Walk behind mower servicing to perform additional work not covered in this estimate, these services will incur additional charges.
Schedule: Walk behind mower servicing will aim to complete the work as soon as we can however some parts may be on back order with suplliers and we cant be held accountible for this. includes parts taking longer or being lost in transit and subsiquently taking longer to arrive. We will endevaour to kee the client informed throughout.
Changes: Changes can be made by the customer before work has been carried out by Walk behind mower servicing, if the work has already been done before the changes are made charges will still apply and will need to be payed for.
Payment will be due in full upon project completion.
If an estimate has not been provided, Walk behind mower servicing will inform you of the amount due and provide a detailed invoice within due course.
Payment can be made by card or cash at either the workshop or upon redelivery.
For machines being redelivered payment must be made before hand-over of the machine.
VAT: we are not Vat registered and cannot provide a VAT receipt by agreeing to the estimate above you agree to the fact we cant give a VAT receipt
Late charges: Any invoices not paid within 30 days of completion of the work will incur late fees. these fees are charged at £2.50 per week.
Storage fees: Any machine held longer than 14 days after completion of work carried out by Walk behind mower servicing will incur an additonal charge of £1.00 per day per item
collections You the customer here by give consent to us Walk behind mower services to collect and redeliver the machine if requested at the agreed price of £1.50 per mile maximum radious applys
Limitations of Liability. During the service or repair process, we inspect all components for wear and tear to the best of
our ability. However, items such as (but not limited to) belts, pull cords, cables, pulleys, spindles and any other similar components can wear out and/or break at any time. Customer understands and agrees that Walk behind mower servicing is not responsible for components subject to this unless we have replaced them during our work related to the invoice.
Warranty on parts and labor is 30 days from date of completed service. By signing you argree to report the issue within the 30 days.This warranty covers service and labor only. All parts installed as part of the work by walk behind mower servicing is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only. Customer shall have no recourse against walk behind mower servicing for the defects in parts fitted by us. This warranty is limited to defects in workmanship not caused by mistreatment or neglect by customer. If customer fails to notify us of the alleged problem and not allow walk behind mower servicing the opportunity
to repair the defect, you the customer shall have no remedy at law for monetary damages.
